Oslo Dokumentarkino (see about us for details of relationship between OsloDocs and Oslo Dokumentarkino) collaborates with external partners in a number of ways:

Private events- for example as a team building or cultural connecting event. Either in your own auditorium or an external venue (Parkteatret or Vika Cinema in Oslo for example). We can advise on a film, secure the necessary rights, help with marketing and arrange all technical requirements. If required we can act as moderator in a post-film debate. Get in touch to discuss our rates and direct costs. Examples include a monthly filmclub with debates for NORAD and related development agencies, and individual evenings for LO, Electric Car Association, Norway.

Collaborative events- if a current affairs topic is relevant to both Oslo Dokumentarkino and your organisation, we can discuss possibility of collaboration around an event in the regular Oslo Dokumentarkino programme. This may involve your organisation providing visiting speakers, guests or input regarding a particular film. Examples include film/debate events with the Afghanistan Committee Norway, FAFO (Private Military Armies) and NRK Standpunkt.

Commissioned projects- we can research and advise on documentary films suitable for any type of event- conference, seminar or social gathering. If required we can develop information packages around the topic of the film and attend events to help facilitate and organise screenings and debates.

Distribution- OsloDocs is a distributor of quality, thought-provoking social and political documentary films. We specialise in films that may need a context built up around them to generate the interest they deserve, for example an information campaign, media collaboration, relevant associated debates or, in particular, niche marketing to interested audiences. We do not usually pay upfront fees, but work with filmmakers to ensure favourable terms and conditions to ensure maximum exposure and interest in their films.
